In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of prohibited practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.

The questline focuses on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations.
