Seattle staged a remarkable comeback to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in extra time, securing their place in the NFL play-offs.

Overcoming a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad emerged victorious by a single point at home, notching their fifth consecutive win.

While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a post-season berth earlier on game day, the Seattle team booked their return to the postseason after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seattle now lead their Conference standings with a twelve and three record, replacing the Rams, who dropped to the number five seed with an 11-4 record.

Signal-caller Darnold had two interceptions but regrouped to make two scoring throws, culminating in the tying TD to wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a 13-7 advantage at the break before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a long scoring dash for the home side.

Rams defensive back Josh Wallace then took back Darnold's first pick for a big return, setting up a one-yard score by Corum on the next play.

In the fourth quarter, a touchdown from Stafford to Nacua pushed the Rams' lead to sixteen points, but Shaheed provided Seattle's hope with a 58-yard punt return.

Darnold then found Barner in the end zone, and a successful two-point play forced the game into overtime.

Although Nacua raced in for his second TD in OT, Smith-Njigba answered in kind to setup the game-winning conversion.
